Dana's Story:
I have a friend back home, name Michele, in Virginia, who just lost her mother suddenly at a young age and suddenly. Michele's mother use to work for my mother years ago and that's how I got to know Michele. In addition, Michele and her family have been struggling in this economy and could not even afford toilet paper. So, I sent them a Wal-Mart card for $25.00. Without thinking twice I knew this is what the Lord wanted me to do. Tonight, I finally spoke with Michele and she said she would love to visit Florida. So, I invited her to our home for 7 days. I got on the computer and found a ticket for her and asked her to fly down to visit me and my family for 7 days. Her mother would have wanted this so much! For her mother catered many functions back home. Including my sister's baby shower that I hosted. I felt a closeness to Michele and know that what I have learned in the past lessons at church that this is just the first part of being a true Christian and helping others. My journey as a Christian is rough but my road is tougher!
