We are Uprising! While a university develops a professional and the work force teaches a trade, Uprising trains leaders. Leadership is a craft and the best way to learn a craft is to get your hands dirty. It won't be easy, but it'll be worth it. Are you ready to rise up? Class starts on Tuesday, September 8th. 

Set in Tampa, Florida, Uprising finds its home at Grace Family Church (GFC). This innovative, non-denominational church has grown over the past fifiteen years from 25 families to one of Outreach Magazine's 40 fastest growing churches. With weekly attendance of over 4,000 and an additional 1,000 students in the dynamic youth ministries, GFC has certainly felt the blessing of God over the past decade. The dedicated church staff has collected a lifetime of ministry experience and they are ready to share it with you.

Here is how it works. Uprising is a nine month internship open to any high school graduate or person up to the age of 25 that is not yet married. During this internship you will have the opportunity to choose up to three different ministries to intern in. If you commit your best effort to Uprising for a school year, we guarantee you relevant and life-changing experiences that will set the foundation for the ministry to which you are called. You'll be stretched physically, academically, spiritually and socially. Most of all, you'll have an experience with the living God that will challenge you to be who He created you to be.
